Psy/Soc Club: Panel discussion of careers
The Psychology/Sociology Club will meet on Wednesday,
November 2, at 6:00 p.m. in Room 245 of the Psychology/Sociology
Building. We’ll be hosting a panel discussion on different careers
related to Psychology and Sociology. Our guests will include a school
counselor, a school psychologist, a police officer, a counselor in private
practice, and hopefully one or two more people. Some of our speakers are
GSW alumni. Everyone is welcome to come.

and Fall classes, including internships. This session is particularly
aimed at freshmen, sophomores, transfer students finishing up their first
semester, and people considering a major or minor in Psychology, Sociology, or
Criminal Justice. However, everyone is welcome to come.

29, at 5:00 p.m. in Room 245. Our guest speaker will be Laura Bauer, who
will talk about her activities training and working with a therapy dog.
Her therapy dog, Katie, will also attend the meeting. We also need to
elect a new Vice President and Secretary; anyone interested in taking on these
roles should contact either the club president, Lydia Bentley, or the club
advisor, Dr. Cotter, before Monday’s meeting.
