Psy/Soc Club: Presentation on GRE Preparation

The Psychology/Sociology Club will meet on Wednesday, October 30, at 5:00 p.m. in Room 245.  Our own Dr. Elizabeth Uhl will be providing helpful GRE test preparation information.  

Psych/Soc Club meeting on October 16

The Psychology/Sociology Club will meet on Wednesday, October 16, at 5:00 p.m. in Room 245. LaVerne Worthy will discuss her research experience with primates and work with individuals with mental retardation.

Capitan Plaza Dedication

Capitan Plaza, which is the garden area and space between the two buildings in the Health and Human Sciences Complex, was officially dedicated today. This area is named after William Capitan, who was the President of Georgia Southwestern State University from 1979 to 1995. President Capitan helped start the Rosalynn Carter Institute. He also began the planning for the current Health and Human Sciences Complex in the 1990s.
